As Finance Manager at Justice + Joy National Collaborative, Tyler brings together her passion for financial stewardship, equity, and community care to ensure the organization’s resources align with its mission and values. An enrolled member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe in Montana, she draws on cultural values of kinship and collective responsibility to guide her work.
Tyler’s background spans nonprofit administration, Head Start leadership, and national advocacy for young mothers and families. She first connected with Justice + Joy through the IMPACT (Invincible Mamas Pushing for Action and Change Together) National Advocacy Alliance, contributing to campaigns and policy efforts rooted in lived experience.
As a former young parent herself, Tyler is committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and building systems that honor the strength, wisdom, and resilience of young families. Her work is fueled by the belief that those most impacted by inequity should lead the change, particularly girls, young women, and gender-expansive young people of color. When she isn’t managing budgets or collaborating across teams, she enjoys creative projects, family adventures with her husband and children, and turning community-based ideas into action.
