The Girls @ The Margin Steering Committee, together with National Crittenton, has released their National Policy Platform Centering Girls and Gender-Expansive Youth in Policy and Practice Change.
This Policy Platform was written by current and former members of the G@TM steering committee ( which as of 2021 has been dissolved, learn more about this here) and reviewed by advocates, including young people, who were critical in ensuring that the facts and recommendations truly represent the issues faced by girls and gender-expansive youth impacted by many of the systems described in the report. As part of the release, National Crittenton hosted an online panel conversation on how we can come together and support the dreams of girls, young women, and gender-expansive young people.
